




A $500.00 scholarship has been established through a
grant from the Central New York Behavioral Health Consortium to
reward a graduating student from each of the nine school districts
in Oswego County with special education needs who has
aspirations to pursue post secondary study.
Eligibility: The student must have an
Individual Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 Plan and be enrolled in a
post-secondary school with plans to attend in the same year as
graduating from High School. The student must attend one of
the nine school districts in Oswego Co.
Selection: The student must be recommended by
his/her special education teacher and/or guidance counselor based on
the student's demonstration of sincere effort and having realistic
and achievable goals. No application is necessary. The
scholarship Committee will determine the recipient.
Confirmation of Award: The award will be
announced at graduation and provided to the student once attendance
at the post-secondary institution is confirmed.
